Certified Oral Translation
Interpreting is a profession that requires skill, attention, and a high level of knowledge because it facilitates the transmission of cultures through language. Errors made in translations can sometimes have very serious consequences. Therefore, interpreters must also be knowledgeable about the cultural values of the languages they translate. In a world where relationships between countries have increased, and cooperation and partnerships have been established in every field from tourism to art, commerce to health, the importance of interpreters and translation agencies has risen. Oral translation, which was first based on the early diplomatic relations, has now become one of the most respected and significant professions in the world. Alle Translation Office offers oral and written translation services in more than 40 languages with its professional staff.
The general definition of oral translation is the verbal transmission of the source language into the target language and culture. The process of oral translation is an action that requires knowledge, experience, and skills, as it needs to be completed with effort and should minimize errors to a level of being negligible or non-existent. Oral translation is further divided into multiple subcategories. Oral translation can be performed face-to-face or online. Depending on the length of the translation, multiple interpreters may work in either oral or written translation. In cases where online translation needs to be done, the interpreter must have the necessary equipment with them. Nowadays, professional interpreting services are provided to ensure the continuity of work and ongoing projects. Our oral translation service is also recognized as one of the professional and corporate services. Alle Translation Office provides oral and written translation services in over 40 languages with its professional and expert interpreter staff.
Types of Oral Translation
Oral translation is divided into subcategories such as simultaneous translation, consecutive interpretation, marriage office translation, land registry translation, notarized interpreting, meeting interpreting, and tourist translation. Consecutive Interpretation: This type of interpretation occurs when interpreters and participants are present at the same table (environment). When consecutive interpreting is done, interpreters usually take paper and pen with them, and they typically note important points such as the date, name, and location. Speakers take turns speaking, and the interpreter conveys the speech to the other party completely and clearly after each speaker. Interpreters translate the sentences spoken by the speakers into the target language simultaneously. Unlike simultaneous interpreting, no additional equipment is used in consecutive interpretation.
Simultaneous Interpretation: Known as simultaneous translation, in this process, interpreters are trained through special training. During the translation, while the first speaker is delivering their speech, the interpreter conveys the speech to the second speaker simultaneously. This translation is usually done with the help of headphones and a microphone inside a booth.
Marriage Office Translation: Alle Translation Office is by your side as your interpreter throughout all these processes and stages. Our interpreter will help you have an unforgettable wedding ceremony without facing any difficulties or stress during the administrative processes. In marriage procedures, we provide interpreting accompaniment services, passport translations, sworn oral translation services for the preparation of marriage declarations at the notary, and sworn oral translation services during the official marriage ceremony at the municipality.
Oral Translation at Notary: Oral translation services are provided for transactions conducted at notaries by foreign institutions and organizations that do not read or write Turkish. Oral translation must be performed by a sworn translator to ensure the correct transfer of powers of attorney, authorization documents, signature circulars, and official documents that need to be prepared at the notary. Alle Translation Office conducts oral translation transactions with professional and expert interpreters at the notaries it is partnered with.
